MAMMA MIA!
I had many issues lined up for writing .. but my kids gave me a complete mood change by taking me to this movie:
For those of you who saw Mamma Mia the play, the movie is everything the play is with MORE fun and better soundtrack ! Most importantly, the movie has the advantage of being shot at the Greek Islands .. Hypnotic and romantic !
The movie is starring the one and only Meryl Streep ! She's as funny and as beautiful as she's ever been.
The movie and fun and refreshing despite the stupid censorship scissors!

Meryl Streep is one of my all time favourite actresses and i absolutely love Abba even though ppl always mocked me about my music taste, but sreiously how can a person not like Abba ?!
I haven't seen the play
But i think that the movie is more fun, because of the location & the cast
truly amazing movie
ABBA's songs are going on & on & on in our houes these days

Alia love, the play is amazing because it's interactive. By the end of it no one is in his seat! My kids were dancing ON the seats :)
But the movie is more beautiful especially GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE !

well .. I saw both the movie and and play, both are great
But I loved the movie I think Meryl Streep (without her the movie would blow) she's a complete joy to watch on the silver screen .
And the ABBA songs were Fabulous !! it took me back to the Seventies.

My angle .. It's not just the censorship, its the stupidity of it! The movie is a MUSICAL they could have cut the scense without alterning the sound track. It was annoying!
We can watch it together when its out of DVD ,, I already pre-ordered it!

but it definitely let a LOT of memories resurface with the soundtrack :)
o ilsara7a one of sophie's friends was super hot ;P the one with the green eyes, too bad she wasn't in a lot of scenes

My daughter, who is an old fan of ABBA, is visiting this summer and she’s been on my head to go watch the movie. I took her last summer to Las Vegas and we attended the play on her birthday, it was a blessing. I was hesitant to go with her to the movies, but after reading your preview, I think I’m having a change of heart. Thanks for the help; my daughter would appreciate it, I’m sure. Meryl Streep is one of my favorite actresses, have you seen “The Bridges of Madison County”? In my opinion; she gave one of her best acts in that movie with Clint Eastwood.

I loved it.. I took my mother-in-law and I've never seen her happier than when we left the movie. It surely mood-lifting and fun. I liked the greek island and the whole setting, nonetheless I liked the play as much.
